Our Return Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your J.Jill purchase. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may return the merchandise as outlined in the policy below.
We have made some important updates to our return policy. Please review the information below.
Returns & Exchanges
We are happy to accept returns or exchanges for most items within 90 days of the original purchase date. All returns must be accompanied by the original packing slip or order confirmation.
Please note the following exceptions:
- Final Sale merchandise, including items marked as “Final Sale” on the product description, packing slip, or receipt, cannot be returned or exchanged.
- For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on face masks, earrings, or hosiery unless the items are defective.
Return Methods
You may return your purchase using one of the following convenient methods.
- Return by Mail:
We recommend initiating your return through our online Return Center for the fastest processing.- Visit our Return Center to start your return and print a prepaid shipping label.
- Pack your return items securely in the original package or a sturdy shipping box, include the original packing slip or a copy of your order confirmation, and affix the prepaid label.
- Drop your package at any participating carrier location.
- Return to a Store:
You may also return items by visiting one of our retail locations. Please bring the items you wish to return, along with your original packing slip or order confirmation.
Return Processing
After we receive your return, please allow 7-10 business days for your refund to be processed. You will receive an email notification once your return has been received and processed.
Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment used for the purchase. If you used a gift card, a new gift card will be issued for the refund amount. If a return is made without the original form of payment, a merchandise credit will be issued.
Exchanges
For online purchases, we recommend placing a new order for the desired item and returning the original item for a refund.
International Returns
We are unable to accept returns from international destinations at this time.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact our Customer Service team for immediate assistance. We will be happy to help resolve the issue for you.
Return Policy for Gifted Items
Items received as a gift can be returned for a merchandise credit based on the item’s current selling price. The credit will be issued via email. Gift returns require the order number from the gift receipt.
